How does Basic Inks breathable nail lacquer let my nails breathe?
We use a water-based formula to produce our nail lacquer, which enables oxygen to penetrate through the layer of lacquer and reach your nail to let it breathe. At the same time, your nails will always get that oh-so-necessary dose of water that will keep them hydrated and strong enough.
Are water based nail lacquers just as effective and long lasting as Toluene and Formaldehyde containing polishes?
Absolutely! Toluene & Formaldehyde containing nail polishes give off chemical fumes, pollute the air and have strong odours as well as being highly flammable.
They cause harm to the nails making them yellow, brittle and weak and preventing any form of moisture reaching the nail bed.
Although our nail lacquer is fully breathable there is no compromise on the longevity or colour quality and is durable enough to let you forget about doing a manicure for a week or so.
I am vegan. Will your oxygenated nail lacquer work for me?
Sure. Our breathable nail lacquer does not contain any animal-derived ingredients and is 100% cruelty-free.
Are Basic inks nail lacquer Halal?
Yes, all of our breathable nail lacquers are Halal and contain no alcohol or animal products.
Are Basic Ink nail lacquers ablution friendly?
This was one of the most important features considered when formulating our breathable range. Our formulation contains ingredients that absorb moisture and water. When performing ablution or washing hands water will penetrate through the lacquer onto the nail bed.
How many coats of Basic Ink nail lacquer can I apply to ensure water permeability?
Water permeability has been tested for 2 coats of the nail lacquer, whether you apply two coats of nail lacquer or one top coat and one coat of nail lacquer.
Are your breathable nail lacquers odour/fragrance free?
Yes, we do not use any synthetic fragrances in our lacquers, we use essential oil for fragrance in our cuticle oil only.
Does Basic Ink nail lacquer contain Hyaluronic acid and what are its benefits?
Yes, Hylauronic acid reduces the nail plate roughness, helps to improve nail resistance and decreases distal breakage. It improves the appearance of the nail and supports healthier nail growth. You can call us your colorful nail therapy!
How do I remove Basic Inks breathable nail lacquer?
Our nail lacquer can be taken off with any remover, nevertheless, we would recommend using an acetone-free one as it will not harm your nails.
